For those who do not know, there is a man called Philip Umeadi, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria SAN. This man has a suit that is sitting idle in the Supreme Court, a suit that seems to have been ignored by the Supreme Court.
That suit has the power to remove Senator Hope Uzodinma, as Govenror of Imo State, any day it sees the light of day.
To ensure this suit continues to gather dust, Senator Hope Uzodinma, must remain loyal to Abuja and their whims, and ignore the thoughts and desires of the people of Imo State, he claims voted for him.
Abuja is against the stand of the Southern governors on open grazing. To avoid contradicting himself, and putting himself on the spot, Uzodinma sent his Deputy Governor to the meeting, where the resolution was made.
The game is simple, Uzodinma can wiggle out of any agreement his Deputy, Prof Placid Njoku gets into. He could even arrange a kangaroo impeachment for Placid; a move which they had reportedly been planning for some time, as punishment for his Deputy for speaking out of turn.
When Prophet Elijah Ayodele, told Hope Uzodinma, that his continued stay in a seat that doesn’t belong to him, was the root of the crisis in Imo, any sane human Being, would have also been able to piece together who the betrayer of the Southern governors would be.
However, Senator Shehu Sani of Kaduna State, helped us in that area, when he labelled Hope Uzodinma, a Northern Govenror, with the name Al-Uzodinmaallah, because clearly, Uzodinma wasn’t speaking for Ndi Imo, but rather, danced to the music his handler in Abuja played for him.
How could any Govenror, invite the military to attack a place where his re-election votes hinges on? When Uzodinma said he invited the military to Orlu, I saw the handwriting of his Abuja handlers all over it.
If he had refused, he would have been in his house in Omuma by now, a sacked governor, waiting to be arrested by the EFCC over his $12million Port Harcourt matter.
Ndi’a ji nwoke’m na akpa amu so he must continue to play ball, even if it doesn’t favour Imo people.
Under Uzodinma, Imo had become a war theatre, with the military blocking any road they like at random, like they did today, Sunday 23rd of May 2021.
Even Uzodinma is practically their hostage, as he must follow the orders of those who hold the power to remove him.
Govenror Akeredolu of Ekiti State, is of the All Progressives Congress APC, but because he was voted by his people, and not installed by a controversial Supreme Court ruling, he can dare Malami and the Federal Government.
Uzodinma cannot reply Malami, because he knows Philip Umeadi suit is doing press up, waiting to him.
Today, I saw some Fulani herdsmen along Ihitte Ogada, in Owerri North of Imo State, doing open grazing. Yet Imo State is supposed to be a Soutstate that is against open grazing.
Does that not tell you that Ayodele was right?
Former governor of Imo State, and Senator representing Orlu zone, Senator Rochas Okorocha accused Uzodinma of being against the Igbo Presidency.
How does Uzodinma support Igbo Presidency, if it’s no the agenda of his handlers in Abuja? Rochas Okorocha should understand that.
Despite the fact that Okorocha was a failure, if he hadn’t declared interest for presidency, Hope Uzodinma would probably not be after him today, and this strengthens the claims by Okorocha, that Uzodinma is being controlled by forces in Abuja.
Till 2023, or the day the Philip Umeadi suit comes to light, Senator Hope Uzodinma would remain a fiddle in the hands of powers in Abuja, to be manipulated to their will.
The day he says “Enough is Enough”, the original winner of the 2019 General Elections, Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha, will reclaim his seat.
One now wonders, can Uzodinma’s supposed love for the people, overshadow his desire for power?
I don’t see it happening, because the day Uzodinma goes against the powers in Abuja, he would not only be removed as Imo State governor, his freedom may not be guaranteed.
I don’t envy Uzodinma, I pity him. Onodu ya is not good.
