Like Buhari like Uzodinma, the pigeons refused to fly

by Efizzy

There was a very disturbing and embarrassing drama yesterday, as the country marked the Armed Forces Remembrance Day, as the pigeon refused to fly when President Muhammadu Buhari brought it out from the cage.

The pigeon has the significance of peace and unity in the nation.

The refusal of the pigeon to fly, had left a disturbing aftertaste in the minds of Nigerians, as the words of Rev Fr Ejike Mbaka to former President Goodluck Jonathan, when the pigeon also refused to fly for him in 2015, came to mind.

Mbaka had told Jonathan, that the refusal of the pigeon to fly, signified refection from God.

As Nigerians wonder what the meaning of the refusal of the pigeon to fly, meant for President Muhammadu Buhari, a similar situation happened in Imo State, as the pigeons also embarrassed Senator Hope Uzodinma.

Uzodinma in the video attached below, brought out more than one pigeon and threw them into the air, but they all refused to fly for him.

Imolites now wonder, those this signify that Uzodinma have also been rejected by God, as Mbaka translated such situation in the time of Goodluck Jonathan?

Uzodinma is faced with a battle for his continued stay in office, as the Philip Umeadi case, threatens to remove him from office.

Many wonder is the refusal of the birds to fly, signify that like Mbaka said to Jonathan, that God may also have rejected Uzodinma.
