Abuja Court Throws Away a Clandestine Move By Uche Ogbuagu, Others Against The IMHA

— For Not Following Due Process Of IMHA Internal Conflict Resolution Mechanism May Keep Them Away For A long time.

An Abuja Division of the federal high court has thrown away a Clandestine Move By Hon. Uche Ogbuagu, Hon. Anyadike Nwosu and Hon. Dominic Ezerioha on behalf of the embattled errant members of Imo State House of Assembly to secure an ex parte order against the Speaker, Deputy Speaker and the leadership of Imo State House of Assembly but were thoroughly disappointed when the Honorable court dismissed the motion for lack of jurisdiction.

The three suspended members on behalf of their suspended colleagues were in court to secure an ex parte order against the leadership of the house but were met with brick walls.

When the plots with the Abuja court failed, they quickly rushed to Owerri division of the Court to secure an injunction but were equally met with the rude shock of their lives as the court failed to grant their ex parte order and were advised to properly join all the parties involved.

Going to the court by trying to get back thru the back door will not be of benefit to these members as it would be most advisable to go back to the house and follow the due procedures of internal conflict resolution of the house thru the adhoc committee of Appeals as was graciously constituted by the speaker of the house.

As it was also gathered that some opposition leaders are sponsoring them by allegedly doling out hundreds of millions of naira for this fruitless exercise in the whole shenanigans of getting back through the back door will be counterproductive.

Recall that the leadership of the house penultimate week handed down sanctions of suspension to six erring members of the state house of Assembly for Unparliamentary Conducts and gross insubordination to constituted authorities of the house.

The speaker acting in accordance with relevant laws and house orders also in his magnanimity to give fair hearing to the affected members constituted an adhoc committee on conflict resolution to hear the appeals of the affected members to prove their innocence.

But trying to jump the guns, the erring members instead of following the due process of the house on conflict resolution went to secure a black market court injunction thru the allege sponsorship of some opposition leaders but were met with disappointment when they were turned back to follow the due process of joining all the parties involved in the matter before the case could be heard.

By taking the case to the court, they have automatically lost out in exploring the window of reconciliation provided to them by the house leadership and now, this may take them all the time in this world and in reality, they’d lose out completely as this will keep them away while the matter in the court lasts.

Counterproductive you may call it….. Wisdom they say is profitable to direct.
