Mr. AIC Akwarandu, the Executive Director of Vokal Digital Nigeria, and former Special Adviser on New Media to the former Imo State govenror, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, have described the former governor and former Deputy Speaker of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, as a man of peace, despite provocations.

Akwarandu was reacting on his Facebook handle, to attacks thrown at the former governor, by hirelings of the Senator Hope Uzodinma administration.
In his words, Akwarandu stated, “Even with the highest provocation, Ihedioha has remained a man of Peace.
“Those who do not have any slightest idea of what it means to be a leader, will always resort to name calling, blame games and buck-passing.”
Ihedioha have notably avoided joining issues with the Hope Uzodinma administration, and ignored attacks against his person by Uzodinma’s hirelings.
Unlike Uzodinma, who had arrested a former New Media Director of the Imo State Peoples Democratic Party PDP, and paraded him in court, Ihedioha have always approached attacks at his person with dialogue, or he would ignore the attacker, whenever he deems the attacks as politically and selfishly motivated.
Despite the massive propaganda and attacks against him as govenror, Ihedioha never detained or arraigned any of his critics, rather organised a Press briefing with them, where he outlines his achievements.
Ihedioha have severally stated, that his ambition to govern Imo was not worth any human life, and always frowned at those who exhibited desperation in their political aspirations.
Ihedioha was removed from office on the 14th of January 2020, through a most controversial ruling of the Supreme Court.
Attempt by Philip Umeadi SAN, to help the Supreme Court correct their misdeed, have seemingly been frustrated, as the Supreme Court has refused to hear the case since it was brought before it in 2020.
Many political watchers, are of the view that Ihedioha would have approached the current security situation in the state differently, in a way that would not have cost the many lives already lost, as well as saved our youths from random arrests and detentions, as have become the case in Imo State today under Uzodinma.
