In a space of two weeks, Senator Hope Uzodinma have been to and from Abuja three times, and each trip had been done with private jet.
Uzodinma is said to visit Abuja almost every weekend, as his family stays in the Federal Capital, and each time, he uses private jets.
The constant use of private jets by the Imo govenror, have not gone unnoticed, as Imolites have expressed concern over the trips, and the associated cost of hiring private jets.
They have also wondered from who’s pocket, the money for the hiring of the private jet comes from.
Former All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA, House of Assembly candidate in Ahiazu Mbaise, Hon Peter Onu, reacting on his Facebook wall, over the matter, accusing Uzodinma of spending billions in hiring private jets, since he became governor.
Onu accused Uzodinma of living a very expensive life, at the expense of Imo people.
Another Imolite, and popular Owerri based blogger, Maazi Obinna Akuwudike, have wondered where the money for the hiring of private jets, is coming from.
Akuwudike further wondered the whereabouts of the Imo Air, an aircraft procured by former governor, Senator Rochas Okorocha.
The whereabouts of the aircraft have been shrouded in mystery, as nobody have been able to tell Imo people what happened to the aircraft.
