The Federal Government has mandated all network service providers in Nigeria to link customers Nationa Identification Number with their sim card in other to reduce theft, kidnapping and terrorism.
You can link your National Identity Number (NIN) to MTN and Airtel service networks through USSD codes.
Check if your number is linked to NIN by dialling *346#
If it is not linked, then follow the instructions Below:
MTN – dial *785#
Airtel – dial *121*1#
