Former governor of Imo State, and Senator representing Orlu zone, Senator Rochas Okorocha, has suffered yet another political blow, as one of his close associates, the former Vice Chairman of Mbaitoli Local Government Area, Amb Samuel Godstime, dumps him for the three R Government of Senator Hope Uzodinma.
Godstime made his decision to defect to the three R government known on Sunday during the child dedication ceremony of his daughter, Munachiso at his country home, in Mbieri, Mbaitoli LGA.
The National President of Emerging Leaders Forum of Nigeria, ELFON, a nationwide youth group, stated that he was now with the Hope Uzodinma administration, stating that he was now Uzodinma’s personal artist.
Samuel, who until his defection, was a strong supporter of the former governor, was also the leader of several strong youth groups across the country.
A personal artist to the former Chief of Army Staff, Buratai, Samuel also served on Okorocha’s cabinet while Okorocha was Imo govenror, as his special adviser on Students affairs.
The child dedication ceremony, witnessed a saturation of members of the Camp Hope group, who came in solidarity of the young politicain, while the Okorocha backed Rescue Mission members were skeletal.
